Terms of use
These terms govern https://mailsbyte.me and the disposable addresses we issue on temp.mailsbyte.me. By generating an inbox or creating an account you agree to them. The privacy policy is part of this agreement.
1. The service
MailsByte issues short-lived mailboxes so you can receive mail. Users cannot send outbound mail through this product. Guest boxes last 30 minutes. Signed-in free accounts may hold two active boxes. Premium may hold ten, pick a custom lifetime between 10 minutes and 1 hour, use a custom local-part, and restore a box for three days with a restore key.
We may refuse, rate-limit, or delete a mailbox or account to protect the service, the receiving domain, or other users.
2. Accounts and age
You must be 16 or older (or the digital-consent age in your country, if higher). Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity on your account and keys. We may close accounts used for abuse.
3. Acceptable use
You may use MailsByte to receive verification mail, test integrations, or keep your primary inbox off a signup form.
You may not:
- send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk mail (the product cannot send anyway — do not try to relay)
- attack, scan, or overload MailsByte or third-party systems
- store or share child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors
- traffic malware, ransomware, or exploit kits
- create accounts or inboxes only to click ads or inflate traffic
- break the law in your country or in the country where the server runs

4. Advertising and Premium
Free pages may show Google AdSense once the site is approved. Premium is listed at $2.99/month and is intended to remove those ads and raise mailbox limits. Card billing is not live yet.
5. Developer API
API keys spend credits only on create and paid extras (create 1, first +30m free, extra +30m 1, +24h 5, scan 1). Reads, deletes, and polling are free inside the request cap. Free: earned starter credits, 2 keys, 30 requests/minute. Premium: 100 credits/month, 8 keys, 120 requests/minute, plus website inbox perks. The Builder pack ($15 / 2,000 credits) is listed only; checkout is not live. Keys are shown once — treat them as secrets.
6. Mail content
Mail sent to a disposable address is processed so we can show it to the holder of that box. When the TTL ends, the mailbox and its messages are deleted from the live store. We do not promise that a message will arrive (senders and filters can block disposable domains) or that a deleted box can be recovered unless you have a valid Premium restore key.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” Disposable mail is a convenience, not a guaranteed archive, not legal evidence storage, and not an anonymity guarantee. To the extent the law allows, Ajistudio / MailsByte is not liable for lost messages, blocked senders, downtime, or how you use an address.
8. Changes, law, contact
